The Wilton Street project involved a residential addition to an existing home, along with selected internal layout changes to improve functionality and flow. The works required careful integration between the new structure and the original house, while maintaining the character of the existing dwelling.

Our scope included construction of the new addition from foundations through to weather-tight stage, incorporating new structural framing, intermediate floors, and roof framing to suit the multi-level design. The project also involved opening up and modifying parts of the existing house layout to connect the new addition seamlessly with the original living spaces.

Externally, the addition was wrapped and clad to complement the existing home, with detailed attention given to junctions, floor level changes, and structural connections. Throughout the build, a strong emphasis was placed on build quality, fixings, and integration detailing to ensure the new and existing elements worked together as a cohesive whole.

The result was a well-integrated addition that increased usable space and improved the overall layout of the home, while respecting and enhancing the original structure.

Che was really good to work with. You know what’s happening the whole time. So that made it easy.
