The Tay Street project involved a renovation focused on the home’s kitchen and living areas, where we were subcontracted to complete the building and carpentry works only. All subtrades were organised and managed by another contracting outfit.

Our scope included internal structural alterations and reconfiguration to open up and modernise the kitchen and living spaces, along with the installation of new openings to suit the updated layout. Careful attention was given to integrating new framing and building elements with the existing structure to ensure accuracy, alignment, and build quality.

In addition to the internal works, the project included construction of a new entranceway deck and the installation of a new rear door with external decking to improve access and indoor–outdoor flow.

All works were carried out in coordination with other trades on site, with clear staging and handovers to support a smooth renovation process. The result was a refreshed, functional living and kitchen space with improved entry points and outdoor connections, delivered through well-defined roles and strong collaboration.
